Government
A fifteen stage BSCAN workflow system was designed and developed, then nearly four million complete tax records were captured from microfiche for the Arizona Department of Revenue. The characters were too difficult to read for standard OCR engines, which do a very poor job reading dot matrix print, which is similar to the print in microfiche images. BSCAN’s special OCR engine and review/correction software produced such high quality data that a mandatory final review revealed only one character error in 500 million!

Over the years, Bookeye color planetary scanners have probably scanned more property deed books and bound volumes of citizen records than any other line of scanners. County governments are the keepers of property deed records. These records are mostly maintained in plat books. Some plat books are hundreds of years old. A Bookeye color planetary scanner is ideal for scanning new and old plat books.
