BSCANLite
Plus are nearly identical to the BSCAN Standard capture product.
The difference is that the BSCANLite and LitePlus products are
software-only products for post-processing, so they don't include
scanner control commands or a scanner controller card. BSCANLite
and LitePlus off-load work (e.g. QC, indexing, image manipulation,
post to database) from the BSCAN scanning station to other QC
stations.
BSCANLite
Plus is different from BSCANLite in that it comes with barcode
recognition and OCR. All other features, representing the bulk
of their purpose, are the same as BSCAN. Those features are listed
below each product description and on the BSCAN product brochure.
BSCAN scan
stations have all features of BSCANLite and BSCANLite Plus plus
scanner control (i.e. stop/start, brightness, contrast, image
enhancement, resolution, paper size, duplex/simplex,etc.).
